About us (who we are)

www.keralavacations.com is a site operated by Kerala Vacations Limited ("We"). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 5810600 and have our registered office at Roper Yard, Roper Road, Canterbury, Kent CT2 7EX. We work in the travel market providing tailor-made holidays in Kerala and South India, using our partner, G O C Holidaymaker PVT Ltd, who have long experience and an extensive knowledge of hotels, transport, and health and safety requirements in Kerala. They use their our own drivers, fully insured vehicles, and inspect hotel facilities to ensure that we are well informed about current local conditions.

Kerala Vacations Ltd has a Total Payment Protection Policy (TOPP). In compliance with the UK Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 and the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organiser’s Licensing) Regulations 1995 an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel and General Insurance Company plc to protect customers’ prepayments paid in respect of:

-flight inclusive packages commencing and returning to the UK

-non-flight inclusive packages commencing and returning to the UK

-the ground handpng aspects of packages where the customer is responsible for arranging travel to the destination

-accommodation only holidays

offered on this web site (subject to the terms of the insurance policy), for:

-a refund of such prepayments if customers have not yet travelled

-making arrangements to enable the holiday to continue if customers have already travelled or

-repatriation of customers to the UK

in the unlikely event of our financial failure.

The air holidays and flights shown are ATOL protected by the CAA. Our ATOL number is 9316. ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the UK. More information is given on the ATOL web site here

Kerala Vacations Ltd also has the following liability cover

-Public liability £2 million

-Products liability £2 million

-Professional Indemnity £1 million

Mission Statement

The aim of Kerala Vacations Ltd is to organise individually designed holidays and tours to Kerala and South India, with a range to suit all budget levels. Kerala Vacations is unusual in combining the confidence of dealing with a local UK company, with the extensive facilities and knowledge of its providers in South India. We respect environmental, social, and community values, at the same time contributing directly to sustainable development in South India. We make every effort in the holidays we sell to:

-ensure the services we provide make optimal use of environmental resources

-help to conserve natural heritage and biodiversity

-respect the socio-cultural and traditional values of the host community

-provide socio-economic benefits to all stakeholders that are fairly distributed contribute to poverty alleviation

-We will offset the carbon footprint of each holiday by making a donation to a wind farm in South India.
